Presents Under The Tree / Fancy Pants Designs

Hello Fancy Pants fans! I'm back with you today, to share a new layout, and it's all about documenting Christmas morning at our home, featuring the beautiful Home for Christmas collection. I love the beautiful embellishments found in this collection, and had so much fun creating with them. With that cute gnome and those adorable deers, I couldn't resist using them to create a couple of clusters around my photo. If you haven't check out this collection as yet, you really need to! It's perfect for documenting your Winter/Holiday memories!

Comfort & Joy / Fancy Pants Designs

Hello friends! Yvette here with a new layout to share with you, using the beautiful Home for Christmas collection. With so many gorgeous patterns and colors in this collection, it made it very  difficult for me to choose which ones I wanted to use for my layout. With a circle punch, I was able to select multiple patterned papers and arrange them at the bottom of my layout, which created a base for my cut file trees. Also, the Home for Christmas 6x6 paper pad with it's smaller scale prints were  perfect in creating multiple layers to use underneath my photo. I hope you found some inspiration for your next layout using the gorgeous Home for Christmas collection.

Added some hand stitching to few pieces of embellishments for added texture and interest.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Fun Time / My Creative Scrapbook December Tutorial

Merry Christmas, My Creative Scrapbook friends! Today I have a layout to share with you using the gorgeous December main kit. I went with a simple grid design, to document this cute photo of my son having fun playing in the snow.

1. Gather my supplies...Patterned papers, Decorative die-cut, Square punch, Black ink pad, and the Prima clear stamp included in this months main kit.

2. I stamped the Gothic Book clear stamp with black ink onto the 'Glad Tiding' paper.

3. Used the square punch to cut them all out.

4. Distressed the edges with some color ink pads and a distressing tool.

5. Adhered to the decorative die-cuts, which was cut from white cardstock.

6. Arranged the squares onto the 'Joyous Noel' pattern paper and glue in place.

7. Add my photo.

8.  Two large clusters of embellishment was added around the photo, one to the bottom right corner and the other in the top left corner.

9. To complete my layout, I created a title using my Silhouette.

Here's a couple of close-ups...

I hope you like this page and it has inspired you to create your own!

My Creative Scrapbook-December Projects

Here's this months projects, using the December Main Kit!

A quick summary of the products found in this month's main kit....patterned paper from Simple Stories 'Country Christmas' collection as well as a few pieces from Heidi Swapp 'Winter Wonderland' and Pink Paislee 'Together For Christmas' collections. The 12x12 combo cardstock stickers, the beautiful holiday floral Bits and Pieces and the layered frames, which are perfect for highlighting your photos. Also included in the main kit, Gold glitter alpha stickers and a Prima clear stamp.

Here are my projects and a few close-ups...

Winter Wonderland...

Created lots of layers and dimension by fussy cut the beautiful poinsettias from Heidi Swapp 'Poinsettia Lane paper and the evergreen trees from the Simple Stories ' O Christmas Tree' paper.

Waiting For Fire Truck Santa...

I selected three of the papers from the Country Christmas collection to create some layers behind my photo. I love the rustic feel/look on paper 5 from Pink Paislee, and decided to add two strips down through the paper layers.

I used some of the beautiful floral bits and pieces, cardstock stickers and some die cut to create a couple of clusters around my photo. I also created a tag, which was added behind the photo.

Merry Christmas...

My wreath was cut from white cardstock and backed, using the Glad Tidings and the Christmas Magic patterned papers. I also fussy cut the gorgeous wreath found on the Christmas Magic paper and place it underneath the cut file wreath.

Here you can see, I added Blue and Red watercolor paint to my background by simple using the packaging technique.

I keep the embellishments to a minimal by adding a large title and one small cluster at the top of the wreath.

I hope you felt inspired today and if you're not a subscriber yet, give it a try. The kits are all so beautiful and you will not regret it!!!!
