A Monster In My Lunch!!!

Happy Lunch Monster!

Hi Everyone!

Stopping in today to share a few lunch notes I made for my son...

My son Max love getting notes in his lunch box, so I recently made these and they were a big hit.

I used two cut files from Just Nick Shop, to create these lunch cards...
The first cut file I used was the Doodle Frames .
I stared by resizing the frames to about 3 1/2 and just cut the outer edge.
Once this was finished I then used the cut file Happy Little Monsters, resizing them to fit my frames.
The fun begins here....

Here you can see the stamping around the cards and also the pen stitching...

Another look !

Stars And Stripes...

Fourth Of July Parade...

Happy Tuesday!
I recenty came across the Scrapbook & cards 2016 Summer call sketch, and decided to use it to create this page...
Every year my husband will take our son Max to see the parade...
One of the best part of this parade for my son, is the candy that will be giving out:)
OH boy! the sugar rush that came after... Yikes :)

I started my layout off by cutting out The Star Background a cut file from Just Nick Shop, and using it as a stencil to create the background.
I first laid my star cut file on a white cardstock, and started spraying my Shimmerz Paints using two colors ( Coloring-Keep Palm) & (Spritz- Bed of Roses).
I decided to also use part of the cut file to make a banner to put behind the photo.
I handstitched the stars to give it some dimension.
I then used my patterned paper to create the laying under my photos.
I finished off my page by adding my title, a few embellishments and some stickers.
Thanks for stopping by:)

Love you mom!

A Mother's Day Layout...

Hi Everyone out in Scrapping land!

Today's my layout features a person whom I consider the GREATEST MOM on earth.
I know everyone mom is the greatest!

Here's my layout...

I used my Hip Kit Club April kit of the page.
The challenge this week is to used the April mood board.

April Mood Board...

I know I wanted to use the heart and butterflies on my page.
So I used the heart cut files from this month, design by Ashley Horton.

I started my layout by using the patterned paper All My Heart by Elle's Studio, and Horizon by Kim Watson for my background.
I machine stitch the two patterned paper together to form a frame.
The kit also has this great butterflies paper by Crate Paper, which I used by fussy cutting the butterflies to add some dimension to the layout.

I started arranging my layout and decided I wanted to make the butterflies look like they were flying off the page...
I really like how this turned out...

This layout came together very easily and did not need a lot of embellishment.
 Thanks for stopping by :)

Library Bear!

Bear Hug!

Hi Friends! Hope everyone is having a GREAT Saturday.
Today I made a fun layout using a design I found on Pinterest.

On Monday, I took my son to pick up him winnings from a Scavenger Hunt at the Library...
On our way out he saw this big stuff Bear, he walk over to it and gave it a hug.
I looked at him, he looked at me and with a smile he said " well! take a picture." :)

I started by drawing a few pinwheel's on my patterned paper and fussy cut them out.
Decided where I'm going to place them and machine stitch  one line down the middle...
On the bottom section, I used two circles in Technique Tuesday stamp set call"This is"to make the  design. I painted around the circles using two shade of  my Copic Sketch in Gray ( C4 & BG90).
Added a few Sequins in blue and green to give it some dimension.
I also used Amy Tangerine Ruban washi tape on the outline of my design.

I next used my patterned papers to back my photo, to give it some dimension I added foam tape between the photo and my paper ...

Here you can see the stamping.

I used a few printed cork and a flair button...

I  also sprinkle a few wood veneer stars around the page...
Thanks for stopping by :)

Today Was Wild!

Wild and Free...

Happy Thursday! everyone, that means it's almost Friday :) YIPPEE!

Today I started my layout off by cutting the Ring Around The Posie Background using a cut file from  JustNick Shop .

I love playing this game as a kid, especially the part where we all fall down! :)

I backed the cut file with a 12x12 patterned paper I found in my stash.

Next I took some of the flowers from the cut file, added distress ink in two shades of yellow.
I started with the light shade first, next the added the darker shade and blend.

A close-up.

I then added sequins to the middle of the flowers, and I also added some sequin studio puffs to one section of the cut file.

Close-up for the sequins...

Here you can see I also used some stamping around the circle...

I back my photo with a few patterned paper, fussy cut a stamp leaf and color it in.
Most of the embellishments I used were made by stamping, adding color and then fussy cut it out.

 Here's another look...
