XOXO | JustNick Studio

Hello, crafty friends! Yvette here and today I have a new layout to share with you. I love combining cut files on my pages. More of the times I like to add them in layers, but on this page I decided to use them separately. I used the Butterfly Border and the Tiny Bubbles Background cut files for today's layout.

The Butterfly Border cut file was cut twice from white cardstock. I backed one of the cut file, with the Garden Stroll paper from the Maggie Holmes Garden Party collection and used the other one to give the butterflies some dimension, by simply attaching only the middle section using machine stitching.

Black paint splatters was added to my background paper, before adhered the Butterfly Border cut file.

On the right side, I added a one inch torn strip of pattern paper and distressed the edges a bit. The Tiny Bubble Background cut file was cut from white cardstock, and some color was added to it, using a watercolor set. I cut one section off the Tiny Bubble cut file and add it to the torn paper strip. I love the added interest this created.

Once I had my photo placed I layered some fussy cut butterflies and floral clusters to finish off this layout.

I hope you like my layout today and it has inspired you to create your own.

Happy Little Moments | JustNick Studio

Hi crafty Friends!  Yvette here with you today to share a layout that I created using one of the many fabulous title cut files from the JustNick shop.

A trip to the local ice cream shop is always a fabulous way to end a day, so the Happy cut file were perfect to document this photo of my son enjoying an ice cream outing with his Dad.

I started by cutting the cut file out of white cardstock, and then backing it with patterned papers from Echo Park Pool Party collection. I wanted the cut file to stand out a bit, so I added one large strip of black paint across the top section of the layout, as well as some vertical splatters. Foam tape was added to the cut file before adhering it to the painted background to give it some extra dimension.

Patterned papers used in backing the H, P and Y were cut into circles and added down the page, to create a bit more interest to the layout, some stamped circles was also added.

My photo was cut into a circle and adhered in place with foam tape.

I finished the layout off with some fussy cut flowers, die-cuts and chipboard stars.

I hope you like my layout today and it has inspired you to create your own.
