That's Kind Of Cool | Paper House Production-Clearsnap Team Up

Hi My Scrapping Friends!

For the next two weeks, Paper House is teaming up with Clearsnap...I chose the ColorBox-pigment-paintbox to use on my project.  I love how the ColorBox - paintbox remind me of a rainbow, the beautiful jewel tone were perfect to document this photo of an outfit I made in Highschool ;))))

I used one of the beautiful pattern paper found in the Lake Life is Best  paper kit for my background.  I then stamped the larger flowers using various colors of yellows and oranges, and for the smallest flowers and leaves, shades of blues, purples, and greens were use. Next, I fussy cut them. Once I had the flowers and leaves arrange to my liking, I glue then in place.

At this point, to create a bit more interest on my page I added a few butterflies stickers from PHD and randomly place them around my layout.

I created some movement around the flowers by bring in a circle stamp and was really happy with how this turned out!

Thanks for stopping by today! I hope I inspired you to create something beautiful using your Paper House products!

Pure Joy | My Creative Scrapbook-September Tutorial

Hi My Creative Scrapbook Friends! Yvette here today with a layout using the September main kit! For this page I use the Carta Bella 6x6 Floral stencil to create a strip to use as part of my background.

I started by using some washi tape to secure the stencil to my white cardstock.

Next, I used a stencil brush to apply the art crayons through the floral stencil. I wanted a soft and subtle look to my background, so I only use shades of orange...and really love how this turn out!

Here is what it looks like when it was all completed...

To finish off my background, I added some spatters using some teal watercolor.

I then added a strip of the 06 pattern paper across both sides to give it some definition from the white background.  I also added some machine stitching to the tops of the paper stripes.

My photo was placed directly onto the stencil background. I couldn't resist using those gorgeous vellum floral embellishments and arranged them in the right hand corner of my photo as well as a cardstock sticker and that cute rabbit from the Ephemera pack.

To the top of the layout I stapled two different lengths of bakers twine and then added a cardstock sticker to the top of each one.

A cut file was use to create a title for my page.

A few more die-cut stars was added around my layout as well as some enamel dots to complete this page.

I hope you felt inspired today and if you're not a subscriber yet, give it a try. The kits are all so beautiful and you will not regret it!!!!

Wonderful | My Creative Scrapbook

Hi Scrapping Friends!

Today I have a new layout to share with you using the GORGEOUS September main kit from My Creative Scrapbook!

The main kit this month is featuring the beautiful 'Auburn Lane' collection from Pink Paislee...you're not going to be disappointed with this kit, filled with so many gorgeous patterned papers and embellishments, it's the perfect kit to document all those precious moments.

I decided to use this month's free cut file to document our first family photo...Max slept through the entire photo shoot.

September cut file...

I started by cutting the floral images from both white/black cardstock and then decided to back only two of the flowers with pattern paper. To the white cut file flowers, I came in with a pink marker and just run it along the outer edges. The smaller black cut file flowers, was added to the top of the white cut file flowers using a bit of foam adhesive.

Next, I created some layers behind my photo using pattern paper 10, 09, and 02 and to give it some dimension, I adhered it down with some foam adhesive. On the left hand side of my photo, I added the chipboard letter stickers to create a title for my page, as well as a cut file. I also added a few more  cut files, with some of the beautiful floral cardstock embellishments from the Auburn Lane collection on the left hand side of the photo.

To the bottom right hand corner of my photo, I created another cluster of embellishments and cut files. I used foam tape/dots to adhere some of the embellishments and cut files to give them extra dimension.

To finish my page off I added a few more embellishments, cut file flowers, enamels dots as well as some faux stitching and love how this pull everything to together.

I hope you felt inspired today and if you're not a subscriber yet, give it a try. The kits are all so beautiful and you will not regret it!!!!

Make Everyday Awesome | Paper House Productions

Hi Scrapping Friends!

This week at Paper House, the DT will be sharing projects using the beautiful Faux Enamel Stickers

I started my layout off by using a paintbrush to add some paint brush strokes to create this cool  background!

Next, I matted my photo with pattern paper from the Little Man paper pad, as well as Die-Cutting a few hearts to use on my layout.

Once I had the Die-cut heart arrange as I like it, I glue then in place and added machine stitching to created two circles.

At this point, I started playing around with the placement of my Faux Enamels stickers....

I love using cut file as title and the phrase (make everyday awesome) from the The Cut Shoppe were the perfect title for this page!

I finished the page off with a few more paint splatters.

Thanks for stopping by today! I hope I inspired you to create something beautiful using your Paper House products!

Dino Roar | Paper House Productions

Hi Scrapping Friends!

This week at Paper House, the DT will be sharing Birthday layouts and/or cards! I decided to document a couple photos of my son's celebrating his 6th birthday with a Dino dig party.

I started my layout by playing around with some paint to create a background that will resemble dirt from a Dino dig :)))))

I found the perfect cut file at The Cut Shoppe and use the Dino Roar cut file to create a large title for my page.  I backed the opening in the cut file with patterned papers from the 'Color Washed' paper pad and try to pull many of the colors found in the photos from the gorgeous 'Color Washed collection.  I also use this beautiful orange paper from the 'Color Washed' paper pad to cut the Triceratop cut file from and place it in between my photos.

I then added all of my embellishments using the Emoji Birthday 3D sticker as well as a few butterflies found in the Color Washed Cardstock  multi pack.
