Adventure in the Woods | 49 and Market | Timber & Tweed Collection

Hello friends! Today, I'm pleased to share a layout featuring a photo of our wonderful dog, Handsome. He has a passion for exploring the backyard, and he particularly enjoys standing quietly, scanning the woods for any little critters to chase, even though he never quite manages to catch them! The Timber & Tweed collection from 49 and Market has a warm and cozy aesthetic and was a fantastic choice for capturing this charming moment.

To start the layout, I chose the 'Timber & Tweed' Mountain Trail paper as my background. It has a beautiful winter scene that provides the perfect background for my photo. Then, I incorporated a few pieces from the laser-cut Floral Set, positioning my photo on the right side of the lovely log cabin. I tucked one of the frames from the Ephemera & Frame set beneath the photo to add a layered effect.

For the title, I selected the chipboard sentiment "Adventure in the Woods" and placed it inside the frame to create a focal point. I also distributed additional chipboard sentiments around the page; one sits just below the title, while others are placed on the log cabin die-cut for added interest.

To further enhance the layout, I created a cluster of embellishments from the Laser Cut Floral set, including pinecones, acorns, lanterns, and leaves. This arrangement beautifully echoes the essence of the great outdoors.

Additionally, I couldn't resist incorporating some eye-catching rub-on from the Timber & Tweed Rub-On Transfer Set, including a flower cluster, a rusted lantern on a pole, and a fabric strip with a faded look. These elements added texture and visual appeal to the page. As a final touch, I used splatters of Cold Brew and Sangria Ranger dye ink paint to bring everything together and complete the layout.

I'm really pleased with how this turned out, and I hope it sparks some ideas for you to explore the beautiful Timber & Tweed collection!

Celebrate the Little Things | 49 and Market - Plume & Petal Collection

Hello friends!

I used the Plume & Petal collection to document my husband's birthday, showcasing how specific products can create meaningful layouts. I printed my photos in black and white so they wouldn't clash with the collection's beautiful colors!

Next, I selected two pieces from Vicki Boutin's Irresistible die-cut Borders for this page. I applied Ranger Dye Ink in Sunrise with a flat brush, then dabbed off some. Next, I used a palette knife to spread white gesso, wiping off excess, and finished with Twilight dye ink for added detail.

I started with the Happy paper from the 12x12 collection as my base and applied white gesso to the right side to create a faded effect. Then, I layered pieces from both the 12x12 collection and the solid papers, added die-cut borders from the Irresistible collection, and framed my photos with elements from the Ephemera & Frames pack before placing them on my page.

I found a fantastic title in Chipboard Sentiments that really tied the project together, adding a cohesive element to the design. I also added a few more die-cut phrases to brighten up the page and make it even more fun, demonstrating how thoughtful embellishments can elevate your scrapbook layout.

The Laser Cut Element Set features pieces with a charming antique feel, including floral clusters, musical motifs, and more. I incorporated several dragonflies and finished the page with a Vicki Boutin Artful Edges Rub-On. I am pleased with the final look and the unique touch it adds to my layout.

I'm really pleased with how this turned out, and I hope it sparks some ideas for you to explore the beautiful Plume & Petal collection!
