Sparkle & Shine | 49 and Market - Plume & Petal Collection

 Hello 49 and Market fans!

I love a good grid design, so when I came across the journal paper "Radiant" in the collection, I knew it would be perfect for this layout. I cut the paper into sections and added hand-stitching to enhance the layout's texture and visual interest.

To make some sections of the journal more engaging, I also included Rub-On Transfers. The pieces from the Ephemera & Frames not only serve as excellent photo backgrounds but also work well as embellishments. For my photo background, I selected a card from the pack and paired it with the Joy pattern paper.

The beautiful elements from the Laser Cut Element Set, along with the charming Chipboard Sentiments title, truly make my photo stand out. Designing this layout feels like creating a blooming garden around the bottom of my photo, and I love watching it come to life.

Perfect Together | 49 and Market - Plume & Petal Collection

 

Hi 49 and Market fans!

Today, I'd like to share a layout that highlights my wonderful day at the lake with my husband, using the Plume & Petal 12x12 solids pack. The vibrant colors and textures work together to enhance my photos beautifully. For this project, I cut Solid 1 into a 10-inch square and distressed the edges to create a rustic effect. I then mounted it on the solids bonus sheet to add depth and interest to the overall design. 

I also selected the Bliss pattern paper from the 12x12 collection, featuring a charming journal and ticket design, to create a 10-inch heart with hand-stitched edges, which I placed on the base paper for added visibility.

For my photos, I chose two frames from Vicki's Irresistible Die-Cut Frames and blended two shades of 49/Ranger Inks for a nice effect. I added drops of 49/Ranger Ink Tranquil Waters for a unique streaked look.

 

I finished the page with floral sprays, vintage frames, and a peacock feather from the Laser Cut Element Set, along with tags, tickets, and a bingo card from the Ephemera & Frames. To enhance the design, I used Irresistible Rub-Ons and used a Chipboard Sentiments for my title. I'm really pleased with the result and hope it inspires you to use the Plume & Petal collection.
