Hi My Creative Scrapbook Fans! It's Yvette, and today I'm so excited to give you a tour of my crafting space.
My craft space is a room right off my kitchen and it's also used as our casual dining area. Here's a view of the room as you enter from the kitchen, and the view from this room is absolutely amazing in the fall!
As you can see from my photos the room has two walls that is complete made up of windows, a french door that leads out to a deck and a half wall that looks into my kitchen, which means I do not have a whole lot of wall space storages.
My main source for storage is a Martha Stewart Living craft space eight drawer flat file cabinet and a craft table.
I used the craft table to hold my sewing machine, Silhouette and all of my patterned papers/ cardstocks.
I love to stand while I'm working on a project and the flat file cabinet is the perfect height for this.
As you enter the room from the kitchen, I have a small cabinet on the right where I keep my Big Shot and metal die-cuts on. I love the idea of having quick access to my die-cuts and don't have to go searching around in a drawer.
I got tired of waiting for the sun to take my photos, so I bought a photo studio lighting kit from Amazon and set it up in the back corner of the room.
Let's take a look at what I have storage in my Martha Stewart craft cabinet. The top drawer holds all of my flairs, buttons, glue etc. and also my Creative Scrappers sketches books.
The second drawer holds my ink pads, acrylic paints, sponge daubers, stencils and my stamping tool.
In the third drawer you'll find my collection of paper punches, my current MCS-DT kit, embroidery floss and some products I might be using at the moment.
I storage my 6x6 paper pads collection, 8.5 x11 cardstocks, paper trimmer and my layouts I'm working on in this drawer.
This drawer holds all of my embellishments, which is storage in no particular order.
The last two drawers, one holds my stamp collection and the other holds some more paints, Neenah white cardstock - great for making cards, a scoring board, 1-2-3 punch board, and a flower punch board.
I hope you've enjoyed a look into my crafting space. It's may not be a dedicated craft room but I absolutely love it!
Thanks for stopping by :) xx
