My Creative Scrapbook-January Projects

Here's this months projects, using the January Main Kit!

A quick summary of the products found in this month's main kit....patterned paper from Crate Paper 'SnowFlake' collection.  The 12x12 chipboard stickers, with shapes of snowmen, stars, and snowflakes. The Ephemera pack with Holiday icons in foil accents. Also included in the main kit, a pack of Heidi Swapp acetate words, which would be perfect for layout titles, as well as glitter foam letter stickers from American Crafts.

Here are my projects using the January main kit and a few close-ups...

Joy....

Falling Snow cut file....

I started this page by using one of this months exclusive cut file, cut from white cardstock. I then, decided to use the offset in my Silhouette to create a backing for the cut file, using the reverse side of the Cabin patterned paper.

Added a few pieces of embellishments, as well as some fussy cut snowflakes from the Winterscape patterned paper to give the layout a feeling of Winter.

Treasure....

For this page I use a poinsettia and the holly leaves from an older set of cut files, cut them from white cardstock and backed with pattern papers from the SnowFlake collection. I also added some hand stitching to the poinsettia to give it some additional texture and interest.

Before adding strips of paper layered with a decorative border die, to create a gift wrap design, I used a stamp and some watercolor to create a mix media background.

I also kept my embellishments to a minimal, with just a few pieces placed around my page. I love that flower piece, and couldn't resist using it as a focal point for the poinsettia cut file.

Winter is Here....

I love creating different layers on my layout, and with the beautiful selection of pattern papers and die-cuts in this kit it was effortless.

One of the chipboard sticker was use to create my title.

I used one of the chipboard sticker and some of the die-cuts from the collection to create a small cluster in the upper right hand corner.

I hope you felt inspired today and if you're not a subscriber yet, give it a try. The kits are all so beautiful and you will not regret it!!!!

Thanks for stopping by :) xx
