Awesome Day | Just Nick Studio

Hi my scrapping friend! 

I'm back with you today to share a Vacation layout for Just Nick Studio created with the Borders 1 and Arrow Set 2 cut files.

   

  

This photo was taken on one of our trips to Barbados.  We spend the mornings at the beach and after lunch it was pool time! 

I combined the Hardy Hodgepodge, Bowl of Dreams and Souper Celebration collections from Jillibean Soup for this layout!

     

 To create my starting point for my layout, I used multiple patterned papers for each of the Borders 1 cut file and adhered it horizontally onto a 11x11 white cardstock.

     I created a cluster of embellishments on the top right hand corner of my photo that includes a couple of wood veneers, some die cut pieces and a flair. 

I  keep the embellishments to a minimum on the left side of my photo, and added some journaling below my photo.

To the top left hand corner of my layout I added a small banner. To create my title I combined one of the arrows from the cut file with a couple of words from the cardstock stickers.

A few paint splashes and some sequins finish off this layout.

Creative Scrappers Sketch # 306 | Everyday Happy

Hi My Scrapping Friends!

It's time for me to share my layout with you using this month's awesome sketch from Creative Scrappers !

Here's the sketch that the design team had to work with, designed by Kristine!

   

I decide to flip the sketch and use one photo on my layout, this photo was taken last year at the New York International Auto Show....my son had such a great time admiring all the cool cars and now he wants a Lamborghini :)))) lol

I started by creating frames for my grid background, using patterned paper from the Dear Lizzy-Lovely Day collection and Heart Day Collection from Crate Paper.....I added stitching around the perimeter and then adhered to my white cardstock base.

I created a little cluster of embellishments in the upper left hand corner, that includes a flair, a wood veneer and few die cut shapes from Amy Tangerine-Oh Happy Life Collection.

I used one of the card from the Oh Happy Life ephemera pack to create my title and added a few foam dots underneath for some extra dimension.  I tucked a few die cuts pieces underneath my title and added the small arrow circle, which I remove from the top of a Dear Lizzy clothespin.

       

I added another cluster of die cuts pieces on the bottom right hand corner of my photo, that include this cute flair (A Flair Of Buttons), a couple of tag from the Oh Happy Life ephemera pack, which I tucked underneath my photo and the stop wood veneer from my stash!

A few paint splashes and some journaling finish off my layout!

Cards For A Special Day | Just Nick Studio

Hi Scrapping Friends!

Today I have a couple of cards to share that I created using the Prairie Flowers, Geometric Lace Background and the Geometric Lace Background 3 cut files from Just Nick Studio.  I love creating handmade cards to give to friends and to loved one, they're so amaze that I took the time to create something beautiful for them.          

The beautiful background cut files at Just Nick Studio are such a great source of inspiration for both layouts and cards. You can choose to use them alone or layer with multiple cut files to create lots of interest on your projects. 

Cut file use on the first card.... 

For my first card I decided to use the Geometric Lace Background 3 cut file, cut it from white cardstock and adhere it onto some patterned papers from the Jillibean Soup - Hardy Hodgepodge collection.

  I then created a banner with my sentiment and completed the card with a few enamel dots along with some for the die cut pieces from the Hardy Hodgepodge collection.

       

For my second card I used the Geometric Lace Background.  I decided to use white cardstock on both the cut file and the backing and adding another layer underneath with pattern paper from the Dear Lizzy-Lovely Day collection.  

    

Here's the cut file used in second card...

I then cut the Prairie Flowers  using pattern paper from the Pebbles -Sunshiny Day collection. I created a circle with my sentiment and to give the card a little more dimension I used foam dots to adhere it down. I randomly place some fussy cut flowers onto the Prairie flowers and finished the card with a flair and a few enamel dots.

Hi My Scrapping Friends!

Today I'm back with you to share another layout created for Just Nick Studio, using one of the many fabulous new background in the shop.

I'm hoping to start document some of my older photos I have being collecting through the years, and for this page I'm starting with a photo of my parents taken on vacation in Grenada in May, 1991.

For my layout this week I used two cut files...Floral Lattice Background with the Doodle Flowers. I cut the Floral Lattice background from some white cardstock and back it with some patterned paper from Fancy Pants Design-Summer Sun collection.  I then back the entire cut file with a wood grain patterned paper and machine stitched around the edges, added some foam tape and adhere the cut file to a 12x12 patterned paper.

 I cut several smaller flowers from the Doodle Flowers cut file to add a little more interest and height to the middle of the background flowers and placed enamel dots in the center to complete the design. 

I used a couple of doilies with some layers of patterned paper behind my photo....I then created a small cluster of die cuts with a flair to the bottom left hand corner of my photo.
