Every Summer Has A Story | Just Nick Studio

Hi friends!!!

Today I'm sharing a summer layout up on Just Nick Blog
As soon as I saw the summer fun and summer lovin cut files, I couldn't wait to use them!
This layout feature some photos of my husband and son having a great time enjoying the outdoor shower and pool.

I had a blast playing with the Summer Fun cut file, you can use one design from the cut file or group together, the possibilities are endless.... I choose to group a few of the design together with a phrase from the Summer Lovin file. First I ungroup/release compound path and select which design images I wanted for my page, remember to make back into a compound path. I then proceeded to move around the icon to created my design, overlapping each one and weld them together to make one piece...

Here are some close-ups of my layout.

I used white cardstock for my cut file, and chose several stickers, embellishments from the Summer Sun Fancy Pants collection to tuck in and around the cut file...

Here you can see I used paint on the phrase, which I use for my title..

I created a second layout using the palm tree/sandcastle from the Summer Fun cut file, which I painted. Added the sun and clouds from the Sunny Days cut file with some hand stitching in two different colors to add some texture.  I also decided to use the wave from the Lake Life cut file to back my photo...

Ahoy Matey | Just Nick Design Team Layout

Hi everyone!!!

Today I've got a layout to share, I created this layout for Just Nick Studio.  We took a cruise in May and in this photo my son is sitting on a bollard, I couldn't resist a photo opportunity...
Such a HANDSOME guy!!! (okay! proud mum.)

Ahoy Matey!!!

For this page I used the new AWESOME cut file QR Code Background.

I cut the file from white cardstock, and start playing around with it. I love the idea with it being on the diagonal, so I went with it.
I back some of the cut file with the Let's Go collection from Pretty Little Studio.
stitched aroung each square to make a quilt like pattern, and finish by frame it with white cardstock.

Here's a close-up for this awesome cut file!
I also used another cut file on this page Sunny Days, I used the sun with two of the clouds and added form tape to the back to give it extra dimension.
I also added a flair to the sun cut file!!!
Here are some close-ups, so that you can see all the details.

I used a few die-cuts to decorate my layout also from Pretty Little Studio, added my title and I was done.
Go take a look at all the amazing cut file that Nicole Nowosad have in the shop!!!

Creative Scrappers #297 | Love-Love-Love | The Cut Shoppe....

Creative Scrappers Sketch #297-Reveal Day!!!

Hi Scrapping friends!!! Today is sketch #297 reveal day at Creative Scrappers  ....
Kristine Davidson has design another awesome sketch... This month Creative Scrappers is team up with the The Cut Shoppe.

This photo was taking in the Bahamas. We were waiting for the ferry to take us to the Blue Lagoon island beach, had such a great day....

Love-Love-Love....

Here's sketch#297...

I love the circles in this sketch, and decided to use one of the cut file from the Crop Circles in my layout.
Here's the cut file...

The Crop Circles cut file includes 4 circle designs, that can be used for your scrapbookinging and papercrafting projects.

I started by cutting three different sizes of the maze cut file onto my patterned paper, using Pink Paislee Fancy Free collection and also a navy blue cardstock.
I started to assemble the cut files by placing the patterned paper on top of the navy blue cardstock and overlapping a bit to create added dimension.

Here's a close-up of the circles...

For my horizontal line I did a fun design with some handstitching, this too can add some dimension to your page. :)

Here's another close-up, to see some of the details...

I also used another cut file for my title Love Rules this was a freebie in February...and I love the wave affect in this cut file with the word LOVE..

You can see I added a flair on top one of the maze circle, a tag made with three different patterned paper and a stamped butterfly which I fussy cut out...

Finish off my layout by splashing a few different colors paints around the page...

Our designers created some FABULOUS layout, go check them out and remember to come back on the 15th to see The Cut Shoppe DT projects!
