Bring on Summer | Fancy Pants Designs




Hello friends! Yvette here with another project using the fabulous Hometown Summer collection from Fancy Pants Designs. On this page I used the Hometown Summer kit to document a fun day at the lake. 

I had so much fun using this collection, from adding layers of pattern paper to create a base for my photo, to using those adorable die-cut pieces in clusters.

Today Was Amazing | JustNick Studio

 


Hello friends! 

Yvette here with you today to share a fun layout that I create using the Before Time and the Leaf Circle Background cut files from the JustNick shop. The Before Time cut file were perfect in documenting this photo of my son Max visit to the American Museum of Natural History, and Dinosaurs was also a big favorite at our home, from movies, toys, books, and even Dino nuggets!



  

 


I started by cutting the Dinosaurs in the Before Time cut file out of multiple patterned papers from Vicki Boutin Color Study collection. Next, I cut the Leaf Circle Background out three times in two different sizes, but decided to go with the larger ones for this layout and backed with pattern paper also from the Color Study collection. In the end, I cut the leaves out of the smaller Leaf Circle background to use as a filler.


 
Once I was happy with the placement of the cut files, I glue them in place.


 
For the background, distress ink pad in two different colors was placed on an angle and pulled across the white cardstock.




I completed my layout by adding a few sticker phrases, several fussy cut butterflies, as well as a small cluster of die-cuts from the Color Study collection down the middle of the page.

You Are My World | JustNick Studio

 


Hello everyone!  Yvette here with you today to share a new layout. For this page I decided to take a look around the JustNick shop for some inspiration and came upon the Spring Birdhouse cut file, I knew it would be perfect for what I had in mind, a beautiful happy Spring page. 






I started my layout off by cutting the Spring Birdhouse on white cardstock and backing it with patterned paper. I then added some machine stitching to the birdhouse cut file and adhered it to my background paper using foam tape. 







Next, I used both the Stems and the Stems 4 cut files to build lots of layers behind and around the birdhouse. The Stems and the Stems 4 cut file was cut from both white cardstock and pattern paper. Watercolor paint was added to white cardstock stems, and a black marker pen was used to draw a border all around the edges. 



My photo was cut into a heart shape and then placed in the middle of the birdhouse.



Added some rolled flowers and a few more pieces of embellishments around the page to finish off this layout.

Love You | Fancy Pants Designs

 

Hi everyone! Yvette here, and today I am using the beautiful Peachy Keen collection from Fancy Pants, along with a couple of cut files from JustNick Studio to document this adorable photo of our dog Titan, relaxing in backyard on his cot!
