Take Me To The Beach | Paper House Productions

Hi Scrapping Friends!

I'm sharing a fun and colorful layout for Paper House Productions!  The beautiful patterned papers with the tropical colors found in the  Paradise Found  ( Beach kit) collection, were perfect to document some photos of our family on vacation in Barbados back in May of 2010...Max was having a blast that day learning to use a boogie board.

Here are the patterned papers use on this page....

Paradise Found Tags

I added some layers behind my photos using the Pineapples pattern paper as well as one of the cutaway tag from the Paradise Found paper. I created a frame using some machine stitching around the perimeter of my photos and love the added texture this create. On the right hand side of the photos I added a couple strips of patterned paper one on top the other to create a horizontal fishtail tag, stitched around the edges and then adhered it with some foam dots to give it some extra dimension.

As I was looking around for a title for my layout, I came across the Sliced-Beach 12" paper pad and couldn't resist using one of the cardstock sticker found in this collection as my title. I also added a cut file behind the title and a few stickers from the Sundrenched Cardstock to finish this cluster off.

I created a second cluster on the bottom left hand corner of the photos which included this fabulous  palm tree from The Beach 3D Stickers, a few more cardstock stickers from both the Sundrenched  and Paradise Found collection as well as a few more cut files tucked underneath the stickers.

I finished the layout off with a few enamel dots, some paint splatters and a few torn strips of washi tape

Thanks for stopping by today! I hope I inspired you to create a fun page from your vacation using the beautiful projects from Paper House Productions

Fun Memories | Paper House Productions

Hi Scrapping Friends!

I'm so excited to be sharing my first layout as part of the Paper House Productions Design team!

Patterned paper use on this page came from the beautiful Sliced-Beach 12" Paper Pad. This collection is so versatile with so many beautiful colors and patterns, you can really adapt it for any theme or season.

I started my layout off by using this ↑ gorgeous half floral / half white wash pattern paper for my page background.  Next, added some machine stitching down the middle and then came in with some Dylusions ink splatters to bring in all of those fun, vibrant colors from the floral side.

I matted my photo with one of the cut apart note card found in the Sliced-Beach Collection and I also distressed the edges. I love how this look!

I also cut the *Memories made at the beach* piece out of another cut apart note card and added this with a puffy sticker to create a title for my layout.

I used a few different paper punch sizes, to create multiple circles and keep the circles to the middle of the layout. Embellished the page with a few more Puffy Stickers, some of the 3D Beach stickers as well as a few stickers from the Sundrenched Cardstock sheet and arrange them randomly down the center of my layout. Love how this turn out!!!

Thanks for stopping by :) xx

That Summer Feeling | My Creative Scrapbook

Hi My Scrapping Friends!

Today I have a new layout to share with you featuring the gorgeous July Main Kit from My Creative Scrapbook

That Summer Feeling...

I used this month's sketch designed by Laura Whitaker as my inspiration....Here's a look at the fabulous July sketch.

To create the background, I started with a stencil from Vicki Boutin and a couple of her art crayons. Once this was dry, I came in with two different ink sprays from Dylusions to create some spatters and finish with a few stamped stars in black ink.

Next, I started building my layers behind my photos...patterned papers, a tag, couple of frames, as well as a doily was use to create all of the fabulous layers found in this month's sketch. I arranged some of the chipboard stickers on the right side of my photo and couldn't resist using that cute chipboard phases sticker as my title.

I added some paper punch stars to the top left and bottom right corners of the photos.

I created a final cluster up in the top right hand corner of the page, using one of the sticker and a 2x2 photo.

I finished the layout off with some more paint splatters and also added a line draw border with a few stamped stars around the edge.

Thanks for stopping by :))) xx

Blue Skies And Sunshine Everyday | My Creative Scrapbook-July Tutorial

Hi My Creative Scrapbook friends! Yvette here today with a layout using the July Main Kit.  I was inspired by the beautiful sunshine and clouds pattern paper, so I decided to use it as a background for my page.

I couldn't resist the idea of adding stitching to outline all of the clouds on the Sunny Day pattern paper, which in turn added that extra detail and texture I wanted to see on my layout.

Gather my supplies.....in the end I decided to use a cut file for my title instead of the stamps.

Next, I use a paper piercing tool to piece holds around each of the clouds.

Added my stitching, this took me a little while to do but was so worth it :)))))

I love the sun rays on this paper and decided to enhance it a bit by using a white gel pen.

One of the strips found on the border pattern paper, had the perfect little phrase to use as a title for my layout. I used a font in my Silhouette Cameo to create the title and cut it from some white cardstock. I wanted a colorful title, so while the cardstock was still on the cutting mat, I added some mixed media to the background using several different colors of Dylusions ink sprays.

Arrange the title along the sun ray, as well as some vellum die-cut circles.

How cute is that chipboard sun, I placed it at the top of the page and add the adorable sunglasses on top of it!

I created a small cluster on the bottom of the layout that includes a couple of floral stickers and a chipboard accent.

On the right hand side of the photo, I added another small cluster of chipboard and cardstock stickers.

I really enjoyed creating this page using the sunshine and clouds pattern paper and hope I inspired you to do the same!

Happy Crafting!!!

My Creative Scrapbook | Cut Files Layouts

Hi My Scrapping Friends!!!!

Today I have two layouts to share with you using My Creative Scrapbook July main kit and this month's gorgeous cut files designed by Anita Bownd

The July main kit is filled with the gorgeous *Good Day Sunshine* collection from Echo Park as well as the coordinating chipboard accents/phrases stickers and element cardstock stickers!

July cut files....

For my first layout I used the background diamond design, I resize it to fit most of my page and cut it from some white cardstock. Next, I added machine stitching to the top of the cut file for some added texture.  I then backed some of the diamonds in the cut file with patterned papers from the Good Day Sunshine collection and added paint to some of the other. This was then attached with a bit of foam dot adhesive.

Behind my photo I added some layers using a couple more pieces of patterned papers from the Good Day Sunshine collection as well as a frame from the clipboard phrase, which was cut in half and tucked underneath the photo.

I use another one of the chipboard accents from the collection for my title and placed it directly on top my photo. I finished the layout off by adding two small clusters to the bottom right and left hand corners of my photo using a few of the chipboard and cardstock stickers, as well as a decorative brad.

On my next layout, I started by enlarge the ice-cream cone cut file and cut it from some white cardstock.

I backed the top scoop with some solid color cardstock and added a few sprinkles using embroidery floss in various colors. For the bottom scoop, I decided not to add any sprinkles and kept it plain by simple backing it with white felt.

The 12x12 border stripe patterned paper in this collection had the perfect border for this page. I place it across the upper section of the layout, added my photo, the cut file and a few clusters of chipboard and cardstock stickers from the Good Day Sunshine collection which was added around the page.

I added two strips of ribbon...included in this months main kit to the top and bottom section of my layout. Finally to create a title, I used a font cut file in my Cameo and outline each of the letters with a black pen.

I really love how this turn out, the *Good Day Sunshine* collection was perfect to document this photo of Max....LOVE....for ice-cream!

I hope I inspired you today to create something beautiful using the July main kit!
