Love You | Just Nick Studio

Hi Scrapping Friends!

Today I'm up on Just Nick Blog sharing a layout I created using one of the new backgrounds in the shop...Stack Em Up Background !

Love You...

In this photo my son found the perfect pumpkin ( It's the small one on top the larger pumpkin)!! :)
All he wanted was that small pumpkin! But we decided to get the the big one also ;)

I cut the  Stack Em Up Background from white cardstock and back it with patterned paper from Fancy Pants design-Golden Days Collection....Then machine stitched around the edges.
I then place it on top of this wood grain patterned paper, also in the Golden Days Collection!

Here's a few close-up...

Now, I couldn't resist using the PUMPKIN and leaf icon in the Sight Of Fall cut file!
I cut three different sizes for the pumpkins, and back each one with a different patterned paper, also from the Golden Days Collection....
For the leaves I cut four out of white cardstock, I stacked one on top the other and glue it down the middle.

For my title I used another cut file, the heart you from the  Pocket Cards 1.  To add a little more texture and interest to the title, I added some puffy stickers also from the golden days collection.

After I was finish with my page, I decide to add one last cut file, Floral Doilies which I tucked underneath my photo!

Thanks for stopping by :)

Remember to check out the shop to see the new cut files each week!

My Creative Scrapbook Main Kit | Creative Scrappers Nov. Sketch

My Creative Scrapbook is teaming up with Creative Scrappers  this month...

We got to work with Kristine Davidson amazing November sketch # 300.

Here's the sketch!

I decide to work with four large grids...I made three of the squares base 4x4 and place 3 1/2 squares on top, using form dots underneath to give it some dimension.
For the square with the photo, I made it a bit large 4 1/2 x 5 1 /2...

Here's a few close-ups...

I Layered lots for sticker, chipboard, brads and also used the ribbon that came in the Nov. kit!

My Creative Scrapbook-November Tutorial

Hi Scrapping Friends!

Today I am sharing a step-by-step tutorial of my layout I created for My Creative Scrapbook using November 2016 main kit....
My son recently celebrated his 11th birthday! This photo was taking at one of his favorite restaurant...

Cherishing Every Moment Spent With You...

Here's the FABULOUS main kit I got to work with!
This kit contain the beautiful Echo Park-I Love Family collection( great for all your fall projects)
mixed with some Simple Stories...So many awesome embellishments-chipboard-fall brads-stickers-die cut pieces...You're going to enjoy playing with this kit! :)

I started with a 12x12 light blue cardstock...

Added my first selection of patterned paper, cutting it to 11 1/2ins by 9 7/8ins...
Adhere to cardstock.

Add my second layer of paper, cutting it to the measurements shown below...
The paper was cut at an angle and adhere to the bottom patterned paper.

Next came white cardstock cut to 9 3/4 x 9 1/4 ins. To create this design, you can see from the photo below the white cardstock overlap onto the light blue cardstock.

For my next step, I started to assemble the banner...using the pocket-style page(3x4 Journaling cards).
Select which journaling cards you want for your banner base and cut those out!
I used a paper punch to make my diamonds....I decided to use 7 on my banner.

I bend the diamonds in half to form a triangle...

The next step is to arrange my journaling cards on a slight curve....once I like the design, I adhere in place.

As shown below I use liquid glue to attach my diamonds, by folding them over the twine to form the triangles for the banner.

With my banner made, now it's time to add the embellishments to it....

I use some Chipboard Accents, Element Stickers from Echo Park (I love family) and A Perfect Autumn decorative brads from Carta Bella...
This kit is pick with so many beautiful embellishments and patterned paper ... I made four layouts and still had a ton of stuff leftover !
Here's a few close-ups for the banner!

At the bottom left you can see I created a small cluster of flowers, first I tucked the chipboard flower underneath my paper, added the flowers I fussy cut from the Fall is in the air patterned paper and finish with a couple of stickers.

I created another small layer of patterned paper to the lower bottom right by cutting different length of papers all at 1 inch width.....machines stitched across a select few and added some sticker journaling.

The last thing to do was to add my journaling and this layout was finish!!!
I hope I inspired you to create something beautiful ....
Thanks for stopping by :)

Beautiful Greeting | Just Nick Studio

Hi friends! Today I'm up on Just Nick Studio Blog sharing a few cards I made using some of the new cut files in the shop!

Hello Fall....

For the first card I used the Bare Tree cut file, for the tree I cut it out of the-Forever With You- patterned paper from the Fancy Pants Golden Days collection....and added some form dots underneath to give it some dimension.
Next I select three different pattern papers from the 6x6 Golden Days pad to cut my leaves from and at this point I started to assemble my card.
The card sentiment came from using two different cut files...Simple Card Sentiments & Sweater Weather.

Here's a close-up...

Boo!

For my next card I used one of the design from the Pumpkin Tags cut file to make a Halloween card!
I used both Black cardstock and patterned paper to cut out the tag....place the patterned paper on top of the black cardstock and machine stitched together.
Added a brad, some twine, the word Boo from the cut file  31 and this card was finish!

Here's a close-up...

On this card I used the sunflower from the Sights of Fall, place it on top of a tag and add the happy birthday greeting from the cut file Banner Essentials !

I cannot wait to use these cards to send to my family and friends!

Cut files used:
31; Sights of Fall; Pumpkin Tags; Bare Tree; Simple Card Sentiments; Sweater Weather  and Banner Essentials

Hi my scrapping friends!  Today is sketch #300 reveal day at Creative Scrappers!

This month our sponsor is My Creative Scrapbook ... Great selection of kits each month to choose from!

Here's the amazing sketch from Kristine Davidson!

Kristine also created  a cut file to used on this page...
I decide to use white cardstock for my cut file, after which I back it with my patterned paper...for this layout I used Photoplay (Autumn Day)

On This Day In Autumn...

I did some machine stitching around each square on the cut file, and then added some form dots underneath to give it some dimension. I used one photo, place it on an angle and added some layers behind it...so as to conceal some of the squares!

Here are a few close-ups!

I added a small cluster to bottom left of my photo using a few thing I had in my stash...place a sticker on top the photo for some added interest!

Here you can see in three of the squares I added another square (3x3)....did some fake stitching with a pen around the edges and add some stickers from Imaginisce on top!

To the top left square I added my title using some sticker and a button!

Added my journaling, spatter some paint and this layout was finish!
